Christmas is next week but if you’re like me you’re still scrambling for those perfect gifts for the loved ones in your life. I’ve collected a variety of great items – books, DVD, CDs and even some sexy calendars – and provided links so you can order immediately online.  Hope you enjoy the collection and don’t be afraid to pick up a few things for yourself!! (Most of these items can be found on the left column of this post but I’ve also included direct links in the descriptions. You’re welcome!)

DVDs: Need a good stocking stuffer? There are a slew of great DVDs that have just come out on the market that would make the avid TV and movie-goer happy.

Girls was one of the hottest series earlier this year so before the second season kicks off next month on HBO, pick up the first season on DVD and Blu-ray. The brainchild of writer/director/actor Lena DunhamGirls follows four twentysomething girlfriends (played by Dunham Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke and Zosia Mamet) living in NYC. Relationships, parents, jobs and the hot NYC nightlife are the focuses here but the main reason to watch are the laughs. The series garnered multiple Emmy nominations and, while it created its own share of controversy for its frank portrayal of sex and being a woman in 2012, this is easily one of the freshest and exciting series to come along in a long time. Definitely a must! Get your copy RIGHT HERE.

Beasts Of the Southern Wild was one of the most critically acclaimed films of 2012 and is on the buzzlist for the Academy Awards nominations that will come out next month. Featuring magic, beauty and pure joy, this crowd-pleasing winner at the Sundance Film Festival has emerged as one of the year’s most acclaimed films. Newcomer Quvenzhané Wallis delivers an “Oscar®-worthy performance” (Philadelphia Daily News) as Hushpuppy, the six-year-old force of nature in an isolated bayou community. When her tough but loving father Wink (Dwight Henry) succumbs to a mysterious malady, the fierce and determined girl bravely sets out on a journey to the outside world. But Hushpuppy’s quest is hindered by a “busted” universe that melts the ice caps and unleashes an army of prehistoric beasts. Get your copy HERE.

TV Music: Two very different television dramas have just released soundtracks and while the music may differ, they’re both must-haves.

First, Sons Of Anarchy is coming off one of its strongest (and most popular) seasons on FX so the timing is right for the second volume of music from the series. With artists such as Jane’s Addiction, The Forest Rangers, Curtis Stigers and star Katey Sagal, you’ll be sure to feel the spirit of the Sons Of Anarchy move through you with the latest soundtrack. And while we wait for Season 6 to come on our televisions sometime in 2013 (I’m ready NOW! Aren’t you?) you can  buy your copy of the CD RIGHT HERE or I may actually have an extra one to giveaway so keep checking back!

Nashville: Season 1/Vol 1:  If you’re like me, you’re hooked on the new ABC drama about life and love in the grand city of Nashville. But amidst the drama between stars (and Golden Globe nominees) Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere, there’s also a bucket load of great music. The CD just came out and features songs by the lead actresses as well as their talented co-stars, Sam Palladio, Clare Bowen, Jonathan Jackson and Charles Esten. (And if you haven’t caught up on episodes, check them out over the holiday break on HuluPlus.)  Get your own copy shipped ASAP by CLICKING HERE.

Need some eye candy for the new year…hunky calendars and more on the next page…

Sexy Calendars: Who doesn’t need a little heat hanging on their walls this winter? There’s a plethora of sexy calendars out there and I’ve gathered two of the best.

Chippendales  has been around for years but there’s a bit of a resurgence happening thanks to the success of Channing Tatum’s Magic Mike film and the fact that two of the hottest guys in the group – Jaymes Vaughan and James Davis – just finished 2nd in The Amazing Race. If you can’t get to Las Vegas for their nightly shows at the Rio Hotel & Casino then you can at least get 12 of the guys posing just for you on their 2013 calendar. And there’s also a bonus DVD that shows the behind-the-scenes photo shoot for the calendar. Hot! Hot! Hot! Get your copy (with bonus Making Of DVD by clicking RIGHT HERE)

If you like your men of the Asian persuasian, then the Asian Men Redefined calendar is for you! With some of the best looking Asian men and the keen eye of photographer Danny Dan, the calendar will make you smile for the great photos all year long but also because proceeds from the calendar benefit the Asian and Pacific Islander Wellness Center located in San Francisco. TV Books: What’s better than watching TV? Well, not much, but you can also read about your favorite TV shows in some terrific, new books that are out just in time for the holidays!

If you or someone you know are fans of the long-running (and still going strong) CW series Supernatural and its stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, this is the perfect gift. The Essential SupernaturalOn The Road with Sam and Dean Winchester is just out from Insight Editions and serves as the ultimate visual guide for all things Winchester. The Essential Supernatural , by Nicholas Knight with foreword by former Executive Producer Eric Kripke, is a stunningly comprehensive coffee-table book that dissects all seven seasons of the thrilling show and looks ahead to season eight – with deep insights from extensive cast and crew interviews. The book is visually breathtaking, with candid behind-the-scenes photos, revelatory production art, and collectible pullout elements, such as postcards, stickers, photos, and a map that details the cross-country adventures of Sam and Dean.  To get your copy shipped TODAY, CLICK RIGHT HERE.

One of the last remaining daytime soaps is still going strong even after 25 years on CBS. Becoming Bold & Beautiful: 25 Years Of Making The World’s Most Popular Daytime Soap Opera (by Adrian Aviles & David Gregg) is available now. It’s hard to believe that the show has not only lasted this long but that it is so enduring to fans everywhere in the world. Travel back in time to the inception of the series in 1987 and the early years, including the original press kit and early black and white photos. See how the series creators, the Bell family, mirror the fictional Forrester family. With a special section celebrating Darlene Conley (as knock-off queen “Sally Spectra”) and never-before-published photos of how it all began, fans of the series will live through the early days of the series again.

For 25 years, The Bold and the Beautiful has delighted and fascinated audiences all over the world. Now the spirit of the series, past and present, has been captured in more than 200 photographs of the cast and crew by some of Hollywood’s best photographers and complied into one work.
