THE BIG C premieres August 16th on Showtime

Actress Laura Linney is known mostly for big screen work in movies like You Can Count On Me, Kinsey and The Nanny Diaries but she’s no stranger to television with one of her first big roles being as Mary Ann on Tales Of The City, guesting on Frasier and an Emmy-winning role on HBO’s John Adams.  Linney next stars on the new Showtime series as a woman who is figuring out how to live her life after receiving news that she has terminal cancer.
