The 2011 ‘What to WATCH/DVR/SKIP List’ continues. Check out MONDAY!

Beckett (Stana Katic) and Castle (Nathan Fillion) are back for another season of whodunits on ABC's addictive CASTLE.

The week continues with my daily What to Watch/DVR/Skip list. Monday is a tricky one because there are several good shows, more OK shows and a few duds. So how do you prioritize your viewing? Let me help…[and if you missed my Sunday list, CLICK RIGHT HERE.]

Stephen Lang and Jason O'Mara headline the new Fox series TERRA NOVA. Are you going to watch?

WATCH IT:  From the looks of the premiere of Terra Nova (airing tonight at 8pm et/pt on Fox), there is a promise of a great series here so I say give it a chance and hop on the train early. (To see what showrunners Rene Echevarria and Brannon Braga have to say, check my video chat on FutonCritic.com). House is your best best at 9pm and then I’ll be jumping over to ABC for Castle at 10pm. (It’s a toss-up between Castle and Hawaii Five-0 but I had to pick one!)

Lacey Schwimmer and Chaz Bono are early favorites on DANCING WITH THE STARS

DVR IT:  ABC’s Dancing With The Stars is always better watching on the DVR so you skip through to what we want to see – the dancing!  Gossip Girl has always been a DVR (or IPod) show since it’s never been must-see but is still a guilty pleasure. , I hate to rule out the CBS comedies (except one, see below) so if there was  a chance to record on a second DVR (or you get one of the new 4-channel DVRs supposedly coming out soon), then How I Met Your Mother, Mike & Molly and the fun 2 Broke Girls should find a spot. And while Hawaii Five-0 gets my vote for the 10pm hour, I’d also say to give The Playboy Club a chance. Unlike some, I didn’t hate the pilot and the gay subplot  interests me (shocker, right?) so maybe I need to create a ‘Watch Online/Itunes’ category next year for shows like this.

Take your shirt off all you want, Ashton. I'm not looking. (Peeking maybe...)

SKIP IT: As much as I can fall hard for whimsical light dramas, Hart Of Dixie didn’t grab me in the least mostly due to lead Rachel Bilson’s inability to carry a show and be interesting enough to care about what her character is going through. I’ll pass (and hope Scott Porter finds a show worthy of him post-FNL and The Good Wife. This is a step down). No more singing shows for me. Sorry, The Sing Off. And when I watched the season premiere of Two And A Half Men with Ashton Kutcher I realized maybe it wasn’t Charlie Sheen that kept me from thinking this show is funny for the last eight years – it’s just not funny and as lovely as Kutcher looks sans clothes, it’s not enough.  I may be in the minority but I’ll skip it.

I agree – Ashton sans clothes is still not enough to make that show bearable.

I’ll be watching Playboy Club (until it gets cancelled) at 10.
