E!’S POPULAR LATE NIGHT TALK SHOW “CHELSEA LATELY” SETS NEW RECORD WITH THE SHOW’S HIGHEST-RATED TELECAST EVER
Below are highlights for last night’s “Chelsea Lately” performance (9/17/09)
• Chelsea Lately welcomed Jennifer Aniston on Thursday, September 17th at 11pm, setting a new record as the show’s highest-rated telecast ever among Households (1.0) and the network’s target Adult 18-49 demo (.89).
• Chelsea Lately at 11pm attracted a large audience to the time period, averaging over 1.2 million Total Viewers, more than double E!’s Primetime delivery while nearly tripling the year ago time period.
• Chelsea Lately ranked as E!’s highest-rated show for the day and also out-performed the competition, coming in as one of the Top 3 highest-rated original series among Adults 18-34 & Adults 18-49 and Women 18-34 & Women 18-49 in its time-slot against all other ad-supported cable networks.
• The show demonstrated strong appointment with triple-digit gains over its lead-in and growing more than 20% during its own performance among key Adult demos.
• Currently, Chelsea Lately is on track to post its most-watched quarter yet, pacing +48% ahead of its year ago delivery.
